Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups white flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup shortening
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1¾ cup dark chocolate chips

Directions: 
Preheat oven to 375°. Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl. Set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients except chocolate chips in a bowl. Using a hand mixer, blend together. Add flour mixture a little at a time and incorporate with a spoon, stirring by hand until incorporated. Stir in dark chocolate chips. Spoon out and bake for 9-10 minutes. Serve hot.
