Breakfast Sausage 

THE ROOT, LITTLE ROCK | SERVES 12

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground pork
2 teaspoons minced fresh sage (or more to taste)
3/4 teaspoon marjoram
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1 pinch crushed red pepper
1 pinch ground cloves

Directions: 
Combine all ingredients. Evenly mix by hand or on low in a stand mixer with paddle attachment. Separate into patties and cook in a preheated skillet or scrambled
